Banana Beach Resort San Pedro , San Pedro (Ambergris Caye)

Having been a loyal visitor to this resort for years, I was saddened to see that it has fallen into disrepair. The lush grounds and friendly staff remain standout features, but the overall condition of the property has significantly declined. While I appreciate the pleasant staff and beautiful views, the state of the rooms and facilities is quite disappointing compared to what it once was.

I had a mixed experience at the resort. The location was excellent, just a short walk along the beach to downtown, and the room prices for an ocean-view room were very reasonable. However, the resort has seen better days, with some facilities in need of maintenance. The bar area lacks an ocean view, and the dining options could use some improvement. Overall, while I enjoyed some aspects, I left feeling that the resort needs a little TLC to truly shine.

The Banana Beach Resort offers great value for families with its economical prices and superb breakfast. Located a bit outside of the town, it's close enough to enjoy the beach and local eateries but distanced from the louder, tourist-heavy areas. The rooms were comfortable but showed signs of aging, and the inconsistent water pressure was a minor annoyance. While I enjoyed the swimming pools and the staff's friendliness, some areas, like the dining options, could be improved for a more satisfying experience.

I had a lovely stay at this ocean-side hotel, which offered a perfect balance of tranquility and access to local activities. The rooms provided a comfortable king-sized bed and a beautiful balcony view of the beach. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. However, the amenities were limited, and the dining experience could use some improvement as the restaurant was closed during my visit.
